India's Daughter (2015)
Have you already watched this documentary? This is all about the 2012 Delhi gang rape and murder case made by Leslee Udwin. It was gruesome to imagine on what had happened to Jyoti Singh. What was even more disturbing is there was no remorse on the side of the perpetrator. It's as if they had the God given right to do that just because the woman was out with her friend to see a movie. 8pm. It wasn't even late night! And all these misogynistic people defending these bastards makes my blood boil. She even informed her mother. In the interview, you can see the pain in her mother's eyes. And it was heart-wrenching to see your only daughter die in the hospital.
Every one is precious. No one is beyond another. But to see this, is this the result of a poverty stricken society? Are they that sociopathic not to know what is right to wrong?
I read that Delhi Crime is based on these case. I'm going to watch it later. hehe.
