They say that when you are an adult, one thing that is essential in life is to have a one specific meal that you can cook well.

And when it comes to cooking, I am confident to say that I can make a good stir-fry. So I'm sharing my own recipe of Kangkong Stir-fry which you can make for probably around 10-20 minutes. It is easy to make, economical and is approximately good for 3-4 persons. It's a perfect viand for this hard times due to very high inflation and thus high cost of goods in the market.

Ingredients:

    • 1 big bunch of kangkong (20-30 stalks), cleaned and portioned
    • 2-3 tablespoons of oil
    • 1 whole head of garlic, chopped
    • magic sarap seasoning
    • Mama Sita's oyster sauce
    • 1 tablespoon of butter

  1. In a wok, fry the chopped garlic with the oil in a medium heat-low heat until golden brown. Take out the garlic once cooked.
  2. Cook and the kangkong until the color becomes bright green. Add a dash of the Magic sarap seasoning. Set the fire into low setting. Add the oyster sauce and toss around until well coated. Add half of the toasted garlic and then mix. Add the butter on top and distribute until melted. Simmer for around 5 minutes.
  3. Add the remaining toasted garlic. Enjoy!
