Tech hack: Got no Load? You can send a free text message online!

Due to the pandemic, the world was forced to adapt in using technology. Online shopping and delivery became a normal trend. And so internet usage became more prominent in our daily lives. The best thing about it is that communication among peers who are distant with each other location wise became accessible and easier.

If you are online and residing in the Philippines, typically you would resort to either Facebook Messenger or Viber when using voice mail or video call to reach someone. However, it is only applicable if you and the person you are communicating to have an access to internet. But what will you do if the message you're sending to have none?

I have known this technique way back when I was still at the university. Through the help of online resources, I was able to utilize free use of load and internet during college which was a very big help for me because at that time, we were not that financially capable and on the brink of losing our house. Anyway, I usually go to magtxt.com before but sadly the SMS text prompt in the website does not work. I found an alternative with afreesms and it works. It has a limit of 160 characters and you have to enter a CAPTCHA verification. Just don't forget to inform your recipient not to reply back. Hope it helps. The link is below.
