Plans.
Anyway, I'll be planning a routine that I'll do so the coming days would be productive.
All the best,

I miss my younger self. If I could turn back time, it would be specifically back when I was in elementary to high school. In that phase of my life, I hadn't had a clue on what will things will turn out to be though I was keen on finishing my studies as my end goal despite what was happening. And I did. I thought I was bolder at that time. I was trying out things which are out of my comfort zone. I tried auditioning for a singing audition and my voice cracked out of nervousness. I was embarrassed but I tried again in the next 3 years but did not qualify. I tried joining a sportsfest pageant and did not win. But whatever the results turned out to be, I didn't regret that I did. When I looked back, I just wished I was a little bit more confident.
I had this tendency to hold back myself. I know that. It was then an acquaintance who brought it up during a random conversation why I was holding back myself. Then I pondered on it. Then I later realized why. Because I need to have that safe space where I wouldn't worry. How could I break away and build up on my self-esteem when I felt that all I had growing up was a constant NO to things? It was the thing which I was constantly accustomed to, a NO to almost all things.
I also had my fair share of disappointments on people. Sometimes the greatest dissatisfaction will be in the hands of the teachers you respected or parents or someone that you idolized. I want to blame someone so badly but then I've came to realize that they are still human after all. When you grow up, you'll see that the one you're idolizing isn't perfect and has his demons to conquer every single day. You have your problems, and they are yours alone to conquer.
If I'm not as bold as my younger self, hopefully in the next few years I'll emerge as someone bolder. Embarking a new journey, I don't know what the future will bring but, BRING IT ON!
In order to change the tradition during our birthdays because usually our mom would just cook pancit or spaghetti whenever we have out birthdays, we asked our mother where should we plan to go. My mom suggested that she wants to visit the Venice Grand Canal in Taguig. And so we went there and then our family decided to dine in to Toni & Sergio restaurant for my mom and sister's birthday treat.
We went there at around 5 pm on a Sunday which I think was just the right time since there were few customers and we were able to get an outdoor table spot. It was unfortunate though that after some time after we ordered, it suddenly rained! However, I would still recommend that you try out this place if you want to splurge out a little for special occasions. I could say that they offer good food. Like most restaurants, they have a 10% service charge.
Anyway, these are the food in their menu that we ordered:
First on the list that arrived in our table is the Truffle cream pizza that costs around 460 pesos. It has the usual 8 slices. What I like about their pizza is that it isn't oily and has a lightly seasoned umami taste when you eat it. It is a cream pizza with truffle, mozzarella and egg.
Next that was served to us was the Paella Dela Casa along with the Seafood pasta and the Pork Ribs Barbeque.
The Paella Dela Casa costs around 620 pesos and was meant to be good for 3 but we were four and we weren't able to finish it all. This one is my current favorite among the paella dishes that I've eaten since the flavor is not overpowering. This paella has prawns, mussels, clams, chicken, chorizo and black olives.
Their Seafood Pasta costs around 435 pesos and we requested to have it in olive oil. If you prefer the red sauce, you can also make a request. This is good for 1-2 serving. It comes with a toasted bread.
Last but not the least was the Pork Ribs BBQ which was the bomb. We definitely love this! The Toni and Sergio specialty bbq pork ribs comes with mashed potato (which was good and fluffy) and salad. I don't remember how much we paid for it because they charge per 100 gram but according to their menu 750 pesos for a half and 1350 pesos for a whole piece. The meat was super soft and melt in the mouth.
For our drinks we ordered a pitcher of iced tea and then later on ordered a beer for my brother and sangria for my sister and mom. They currently have a promo of 300 pesos for 2 glasses of sangria.
I didn't order anything because I was craving for coffee so we went to Tim Hortons after our dinner.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would go back to try out their other food on their menu.

Can you guess how I did it?

The solution that I did is that you should flash a light in front of your phone.
Happy -Ber Month!
Today is September 1st and in the Filipino culture, it marks the start of the countdown till Christmas. It's basically Christmas time because we would be able to hear the songs of the iconic "Father of Christmas music", (though I heard he doesn't want to be called by it) Jose Mari Chan at Mariah Carey's Christmas songs in the malls.
