A Marinade using Doenjang
Doenjang is usually used by Koreans for their stews. And because I don't want anything to go to waste, I thought of making a marinade using doenjang instead of gochujang. The pork with this marinade turned out savory and surprisingly it paired good with tuna fettucine.
Here is my recipe:
Ingredients:
- Doenjang approximately 3-4 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2-3 caplets
- Sugar - 3-4 tablespoons
- White onion, minced 1/16
- Freshly crushed black pepper
- Mix all the above ingredients and adjust according to taste. Marinade to meat for at least an hour.
