How much advantage we've got at the start at life will be solely based on how hard our ancestors had strive to provide us. The thing we do next is how will we use it to further advance or destroy our current advantageous stance and in turn pass in down eventually to our descendants. -Sanegeal Farmhear 11/20/2018 7:49 pm

Cannot view SSS contributions online
Cannot view SSS contributions online
For those who are first time checking their SSS contributions, you may encounter having difficulties in viewing your contributions online. The SSS online recommends that you use Internet Explorer version 11. I'm not a fan of internet explorer as the browser takes too long to load the pages. I usually use the browser Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. So what did I do?
When using Google Chrome:
- You logged in first to https://www.sss.gov.ph/sss/appmanager/portal/home
- After logging in, you will see the first icon to the right of the url address. Click that icon and then there would be a pop that says "Insecure content blocked". Under that is the link "Load unsafe scripts" which you also click.
- The page will be loading and you will be able to see your contributions by clicking Member Info then Actual Premiums. You'll be able to see the table of contributions.
Lastly, do not forget to log-out your account.
Hope this helps! :-)

All things Hot!
All things Hot!
December is fast approaching and we are faced with a chill morning and a humid evening. Because I tend to get cold easily, I fell in love with coffee and tea. I've tried hard enough not to succumbed to the temptation as I am not supposed to consume caffeinated beverages because I'm currently taking a medication which makes caffeine stay longer than usual in the body. One day, as I was peeking out in my little cabinet, I saw the remaining peppermint tea that I tried. The pack was labelled that it was caffeine free. And so here I am, falling in love with peppermint tea without the guilt! :-D

Brain Maker by David Perlmutter
Yo! Happy November!
How are you doing? I am still fine and kicking.
Anyway, these days I am immersed in reading Brain maker: The Power of Gut Microbes to Heal and Protect Your Brain for Life by David Perlmutter. There are many interesting points and information in there. I would like to recommend that you read it too. What I remembered that is my favorite tidbit so far in this book is the short fatty acids that is the byproduct of gut bacteria when they processed non-digestible fiber (butyric acid, etc). In his book, he emphasizes the consumption of probiotics which can help in minimizing and preventing neurological diseases and leaky gut which can cause inflammation.
