Libby concerns - Locked chapters from a borrowed audiobook

Libby concerns - Locked chapters from a borrowed audiobook

I recently talked about using Libby and just now, I had a problem. I had borrowed a book and it's only the book sample that I could access. Did you also encountered this?

I did some few google search and they say it has something to do with Manage Loan. What I did was from the Manage Loan button, go to the Download and disable it. You'll know that you're on the right track when you can see the Download which is hyperlinked. Restart the application and go again to your borrowed audiobook. It should show all the chapters unlocked.

I believe that what happened was that I had accessed the sample (before borrowing it) and the app downloaded automatically.

Let me know if it helped. xx

Libby

Libby

I'm still in the process of gaining the motivation in reading books again.

It's just that, what hafen Vela? (IYKYK, sense of humour in the Philippines)

Kidding aside, I've been meaning to go back to where I was in the last decade. I felt like I was more intrinsically motivated through self imposed routines before.

I think that this all started when the pandemic happened. Maybe due to the uncertainty, stress and all of that especially at that time I was working in a hospital. My love for reading books had waned and unfortunately, I wasn't even able to read a book in a year this past few years.

Way back, I could finished 100 or more books in a year. (But I guess at that time, it was more of a challenge and to-do list rather than that of a take-your-time-to-savor-up-the-moment).

Anyway, I was able to accidentally found about the Libby app through notifications in my work e-mail. I think that I might have encountered Libby before when I was still in the Philippines but access comes with subscription, I presume. (Addendum: I googled it and I was wrong, Libby is free of charge. You'll just need a digital library card for you to loan audiobooks, magazines, etc from a public library. This is a heaven-sent! :))

Libby is an mobile application where you are able to access audiobooks from your library (or employment?). I am now listening to Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents by Lindsay Gibson - I think I might benefit from this.

I got all the time in the world but is it just me that why do I find it hard?

I guess I need some structure in my life.
