Eureka tweet for the day #01

"Suddenly, it dawned on me that there's no in between. It's either all or nothing."

Let's do Herb Gardening!

I love looking at plants. And who wouldn't? I've read somewhere that the authentic green is the most relaxing to the eyes. Having plants in your home and in the workplace will help to your relaxation too.

Oh, it just reminds me of my childhood days when I was still in the province.

My grandfather was a farmer. When I was young, we used to live in our grandparents house. During weekends, I would stroll outside and take the time to appreciate the beauty of nature.

I missed the crisp smell of the trees. The breath of fresh air. The invigorating feeling of nature.

------

And so I think the memory triggered my impulsive behavior that after attending the 9:00 am novena at Baclaran church with my mom, I went to take a stroll in Baclaran. And while having my own little adventure, I was able to walk on by a display of plants. At the spur of the moment decision, I purchase plants. Herbal plants in fact.

I was able to read about herbs recently and found it interesting. It can be used as a tea, an addition to our food in order to make it more flavorful, and can be used for aromatherapy and so on and so forth. Our ancestors have no access to high technology and medical advancements as we have now and they relied on herbs. It came as a surprise that though we have the latest technologies and the like, people are gearing towards ancient medical practice. I guess despite misconceptions and myths, there's something to look forward to in herbs. Did you know that the medicine digitalis was derived from the plant foxglove?

It actually is one of my childhood dreams to have a garden full of herbs and vegetables and fruits.

From left to right: Gotu Kola, Peppermint, Thyme

According to Kuya, it was 35 pesos per plant. But since I'm buying 3 pieces of assorted plants, I purchase these babies for 100 pesos.

And hopefully, these would sprout into marigold seedlings *crossing fingers*.

Entry Baby!

Hello people! Or probably just me. Anyway, I decided (and yet again) to start another blog.

Why?

I guess this is one way of distracting me and my over thinking brain from any depressing thoughts because you know, I'm on my 12th day of being unemployed. Ha!

Worry not, I'm just 24 and I chose to look on the brighter things in life.

So, sit back, relax and hopefully you can enjoy the complicated life ramblings and craziness of Sanegeal Farmhear. :)
